ACR respects your privacy and does not collect or transfer any data to us or to any third party unless stated below.

Microphone access

ACR must use your phone's microphone and call audio source to record calls.
ACR does not automatically collect or transfer any audio or voice data to us or to any third party.

Naturally, if you use cloud services it will have to transfer the recording of your calls to the cloud service of your choice

 

Contacts access

ACR uses your contacts to match recordings to contacts and display recording information under contact names. It also uses contacts to apply recording and listing filters you might select. ACR does not collect or transfer any contact data to us or to any third party. Naturally, if you use cloud services it will have to transfer contact name in the recording file name to the cloud service of your choice.
ACR does not automatically collect or transfer any contact information to us or to any third party.

 

Auto Email (AE)

AE is an optional premium future of ACR. It requires you to save your email address and login details in ACR settings, which, is only accessible to ACR and is not stored or transferred outside your phone. ACR uses stored login information to auto login to your email provider's system and sends your last recording (like an email app) from your email service to the email address you specify in AE settings or communicate with your email provider's mail service. If you are not comfortable with above, you can always use Auto Email (Gmail) and setup auto email without giving out your details.

WebDAV

WebDAV is a standard HTTP protocol to transfer files from clients to servers. WebDAV is an optional premium future of ACR. It requires you to save your login details for your webserver or WebDAV service in ACR settings, which is only accessible to ACR and it is not stored or transferred outside your phone. ACR uses stored login information to auto login to your WebDAV service and upload your recordings.

FTP

FTP is a file transfer protocol to transfer files from clients to servers. FTP is an optional premium future of ACR. It requires you to save your login details for your FTP service in ACR settings that, is only accessible to ACR and it is not stored or transferred outside your phone. ACR uses stored login information to auto login to your FTP server and upload your recordings.
ACR does not automatically collect or transfer any account information to us or to any third party.

 

Other cloud services

ACR supports other cloud services such as Dropbox and Google drive. These services are being accessed if and when user links their account with ACR. Due to nature of linking and access, ACR can only access certain areas of the cloud service and these are clearly explained to user during authorisation request by the cloud service. ACR uses given authorisation to upload and store your recordings on the cloud service and can delete or re-upload recordings on your request within ACR cloud services setting.

Third party services

AiSense
ACR has collaborated with AiSense to provide transcription services. This is an automated service and only available in certain countries. You must select "Transcribe" option to send your recording to AiSense. In order to use ACR Transcription service you must agree to Aisense Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. You can read their Terms & Contidions and Privacy Policy on their web site at http://www.aisense.com/.

This is user-initiated process and ACR does not automatically transfer recordings to AiSense. You must also agree that ACR has no responsibility on privacy of the recording once you upload it to AiSense for processing.

 

Advertising

ACR uses Google's mobile advertising platform Admob in free version and fully complies with their privacy and the developer's policy. Admob uses Google's Advertising ID API (which ACR has no access) to provide adverts to you. These adverts can include targeted ones. You can access settings related to advertising under Google settings app on your phone. Those settings enabled and controlled by Google. You can also choose personalised or non-personalised advertising option in ACR settings if you are living in EEA area. You can change your options a t any time in ACR settings.

No advertising displayed if you upgrade ACR to Pro.

 

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

FCM is part of the core of the Android and used by Google and developers to communicate with your phone via Google services. If you choose to receive updates within ACR settings, ACR uses FCM to deliver notifications about updates and promotions related to ACR, to you. In order to do that we store a very long random string of text that is unique to ACR. This information does not contain any personal information whatsoever and cannot be used anywhere apart from ACR. It is deleted as soon as you are opt-out from receiving updates under ACR settings. You can read more about FCM at https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/

 

NLL APPS Messaging

In order to check new updates and messages ACR tries to connect to this site every 7 days or so. It does not transfer any information what so ever and we do not record this request. It is purely to notify urgent updates.

 

Analytics

Analytics data helps us to improve ACR. Collected information is neither personally identifiable nor contains personal information but identifies unique installation of ACR on each device.

ACR uses Firebase Analytics to collect information about how many people install and use it. You can turn of Analytics data collection under ACR settings.

Firebase analytics data is not shared with other Google products. It is purged after 14 months.

Legal

You are not to use ACR in any way that might be illegal or unlawful under local and international laws. You must remove ACR from your device if you have any doubts
You are responsible to check legality of call recording in your country and remove ACR if it is not permitted by law.

 

Limited Liability

You accept that; we (NLL APPS including developer(s), owner(s), contactor(s), director(s), providers and apps) do not have any sort of liability what so ever for anything that may arise from the use of our properties including our apps and/or our communications apart from the Pro license fee you may have paid.

 

Support for pro version

We will do anything we can to fix issues you might have with ACR. Unfortunately, call recording on Android depends on the phone and Android version.
Please try ACR free version before upgrading to pro version.

- We might not be able to solve the issue if you upgrade to a new Android version which might have call recording issues
- We might not be able to solve the issue if you change your phone to a different one

 

Refunds

Google Play refund policy is 48 hours. However, we might be able to extend it to 14 days depending on your country and circumstances.

 

Support for free version

We will do anything we can to fix issues you might have with ACR. Unfortunately, call recording on Android depends on the phone and Android version.
Please try ACR free version before upgrading to pro version.

- We might not be able to solve the issue if you upgrade to a new Android version, which might have call recording issues
- We might not be able to solve the issue if you change your phone to a different one
