Can I turn off call recording?
Yes, go to Call Recording settings under AcrPhone settings and turn it off.
Android 8 & 8
Call recording should work fairly well on many phones. Unfortunately, it is not 100% and some phones might have issues.
Android 9 and above
Android 9 and above versions don't support 2-way call recording with 3rd party apps. No call recording app can record properly.
Some phones can record from the earpiece speaker fairly well.
You can try setting recording audio gain to 10 under Call Recording settings. It might improve the audio quality.
Although it might be inconvenient, enabling loud speaker during the call can help too.
Android 10 and above
You need to enable Call Recording Helper service.
This service is used for accessing call audio. No call audio can be recorded when it is disabled.
In order to limit access to your data, app limits observation to its own events and does not request any capability.
Some phones may report service as not working. Try disabling and enabling it again if this happens
Recording error even when Call Recording Helper is enabled
Unfortunately some phones don't support call recoridng even with the helper service. So far, we know that certain phones with MediaTek SoC/CPU are unable to record other party properly.
